Today, the field of color psychology studies colors' effects on our moods. Yellow, although op4mis4c and happy the way the sun outdoors makes us feel, TOO MUCH yellow can create agita4on and higher blood pressure. This is why infant nurseries and public queue areas (like a post office with long lines of cus- tomers) avoid pain4ng walls a strong yellow color. Blue, the color of calm sunny sky and water, is peace- ful in mood. Bedrooms o%en use a pale sky blue as part of their décor to promote a soothing safe feeling for healthy sleep.
