If the area north of Manhattan had a flavor, what would it be? Per-
haps a blend of upstate and urban with a touch of earthiness for
good measure. It would be classic like a Smith & Wollensky steak
with a side of creamed spinach yet have the comfort of a wood-fired
meatball and be eclectic like Thai curry mussels. Or maybe the taste
of "Manhattan North" is a perfectly paired rye with the nutty notes of
Frangelico, like The Dining Room's own twist on this signature cocktail
that dates back to NYC social clubs of the 1800s.
