But before Collier and company
are sailing down the coast, or
across the Pacific from their
Hawaii loca5on, things must start
locally. The goal is for MAkER-
SHIP to begin by sailing on the
Hudson River, out of the Nyack
boatyard, by 2026 or 2027.
ARCH has already had con5n-
ued success in Nyack; since
being there from 2017, they've
partnered with local businesses,
photographers, and have re-
cently opened a new photo stu-
dio, Hudson Valley Studios,
which neighbors the ARCH facil-
ity. They offer a 23 foot-wide cy-
clorama, set building, equipment
and space rentals, and profes-
sional photoshoots. Collier was
also recently appointed to The
Arts Council of Rockland this
year, his first posi5on on a non-
profit board, where he says it's
helpful to understand what the
needs of MAkERSHIP might be.
"We're just ge7ng started,
honestly," says Collier on the
growth the company has gone
through over the last decade-

plus. Progressive partnerships,
posi5ve ventures, and Collier's
obsessive, passionate a7tude
have provided Arch with success.
"We're showing up to influence
the way the industry interacts
with sustainable art and design,"
he says. "How will we do that? By
focusing on MAkERSHIP, joining
1% for the Planet, doing the most
sustainable work we can and
being a leader in our industry."
