We each have an Infinite Realm and
these arPsts and this exhibiPon en-
courage us to discover our own
unique creaPve reality.
Norman Galinsky early dealt with
the connecPon between science and
art, as he says, "the quantum and the
spiritual." A young chemical engineer
for seven years at the beginning of his
career, he turned to art and became
one of the original members of
Rauschenberg's abstract-with-mean-
ing movement. Galinsky has conPn-
ued this theme throughout his life,
evolving most recently to intricate
minute strokes and pa1erns in black
and white. His works brought so
much interest in the white marble
lobby where they hung previously,
that Sussman invited him to this Infi-
nite Realm show as well.
Sandra Lerner's dreamlike abstrac-
Pons reveal a universe in flux. Using
intuiPon, rather than pre-designing a
composiPon, she is able to arrive at
works which literally reveal the en-
ergy of cosmic science as she uses
Eastern philosophies to follow the en-
ergy as she applies paint to canvas.
