know all the history about him,
which is very exci3ng.
"I search for things that I think
will fit well in any style, from a
modern home to an an3que
home. I avoid pieces that won't
work in various decors. I have a lot
of versa3le Asian pieces,
stoneware, salt-glazed po4ery,
Americana; I love my English scrub
pine furniture and my French farm
tables.
"When I'm on the hunt for a
treasure with history, I'm very spe-
cific; it can take me days and days
to find what I'm looking for." She
says she purchases most of her
collec3on through auc3on houses,
and can o$en lose herself in the
past as she tours her store. "I feel
like I'm walking through the his-
tory of these pieces. I have a beau-
