Originally built in 1938 by architect Harold Reeve Sleeper, the home had many gems to be mined and salvaged. Of par5cular interest to Young was the full library with its bow-front fireplace and the steel bay casement windows adorned on the exterior with zinc whales and waves in a nau5cal mo5f. And here's where the dance be- gins, it took an en5re team, along with some heavy equipment, to go out on that salvage mission. The windows alone required the muscle of six men to remove, prep and get loaded for the ride up north to Newburgh.
