For better or worse, the human factor is often the
biggest x-factor in how a business runs. And when
you have a group of humans, say 10 – 250, if they all
aren't operating in synch and headed in the same di-
rection it can be the monkey wrench in the wheel
that brings it to a grinding halt. Or maybe instead of
a standstill it creates just enough chaos to divert the
group off course, like one Tour de France biker riding
in the wrong direction. Some in the pack might
crash, while others forced to detour. Either way, time
is lost and for some the race may be over.
