Enjoy watching
apples
are not only healthy for us
humans, but also for our feath-
ered friends. We all know the
apple as a food source as well as
a beverage. The apple contains a
lot of fruit sugar and is 80% water,
therefore a quick energy source
for the birds. Leave some of your
apples that might have some soft
spots outside in the garden. Even
the birds that can't sit at a bird
feeder will enjoy this treat. Of
course there might be other crit-
ters that will take advantage as
well.
Note: organic is always best and
closest to natural.
