Growing into a Warwick tradi9on, on Thursday December 5
at 6pm, a Christmas Spectacular celebra-on will take place as the
largest tree-ligh-ng ceremony in the Hudson Valley. Last year, a
lively crowd gathered to watch the first tree-ligh-ng ceremony at
the Inn, illuminated by 24,000 fluorescent lights. A group of local
high school carolers serenaded guests beneath the tree to spread
Christmas cheer. Fresh eggnog was distributed and joy filled this
historic landscape.
What makes this tree so special? This tree is alive and well—
whilst growing with the community as it con-nues to flourish tak-
ing in the history and landscape of Warwick. The Rockefeller Cen-
ter's tallest Christmas tree was a 100 Spruce, a 100 years old
tree that was cut down and shipped, instead of a vibrant tree
alive to the area. The Old Stone's tree is 125 tall and con-nues
to thrive naturally.
Arek Kwapinski, owner along with Sylwia Kubasiak, was excited
about the success of the first ever Christmas tree ligh-ng, saying,
"Last year we didn't know what to expect. There ended up being
