There is an ennobled embrace of Old Towne Québec City at
Auberge Saint-Antoine, encompassed in the UNESCO World Her-
itage site. Auberge is not only unique because of its loca9on, his-
tory, and architecture, but it is a museum hotel and luxury property
in the heart of the city's Old Port on the St. Lawrence River.
Started as a Bed and Breakfast, Auberge is now an honored Relais
& Chateau and two Michelin starred bou9que hotel of 95 rooms, all
restored with care and respec8ul of the flavor of Old Towne; the in-
terior has a sense of place. "When people wake up we want them
to know and feel they are in Quebec. We are a modern take on Old
Québec without losing our history. That is why you see tradi9onal
plastered walls to cover the stones behind it and the vaulted ceil-
ings, just as if you went into a building in 16-17th century Old
Québec, says Alex Kassatly, GM.
